Directions to Low Penhowe from the South
- M1
- A1/A1M (North)
- A64 - marked YORK
- A64, become single carriageway
- Continue on A64, until it becomes Dual Carriageway again
- **You need to watch for signs at this stage**
- A64, WHITWELL ON THE HILL
- Move to right hand lane and turn right - marked WESTOW, CRAMBE & KIRKHAM
- Head down the hill, over the level crossing
- Over the River Derwent
- Pass the ruins of Kirkham Priory on your right
- Pass the Stone Trough Inn on your left
Heading towards WESTOW - At T junction turn right, past the Blacksmiths Arms on your left
- Turn left, marked BURYTHORPE
- **Watch out - Narrow Lane**
- At cross roads - straight across marked BURYTHORPE
- 700 yards, turn right
- Up the drive to Low Penhowe
If heading from any other part of the country, make your way to the A64 and pick up the directions from there!
