from the South

Remember if you are using Satellite Navigation and type in the postcode YO17 9LU, it will take you past the bottom of our drive for about another 1/2 mile to another farm! Best to type in PENHOWE LANE!

• A1/A1M (North)
• A64 – marked YORK
• A64, become single carriageway
• Continue on A64, until it becomes Dual Carriageway again
• **You need to watch for signs at this stage**
• A64, WHITWELL ON THE HILL
• Move to right hand lane and turn right, marked WESTOW, CRAMBE & KIRKHAM
• Head down the hill, over the level crossing
• Over the River Derwent
• Pass the ruins of Kirkham Priory on your right
• Pass the Stone Trough Inn on your left
  Heading towards WESTOW
• At T junction turn right, past the Blacksmiths Arms on your left
• Turn left, marked BURYTHORPE
• **Watch out – Narrow Lane**
• At cross roads – straight across marked BURYTHORPE
• 700 yards, turn right
• Up the drive to Low Penhowe and you have arrived at Yorkshires Finest B&B!!

If heading from any other part of the country, make your way to the A64 and pick up the directions from there!

Plan your route to Low Penhowe

Beware; we share the same postcode with 6 other properties! If you are using a satellite navigation system, and if you are able to, simply type in your destination as PENHOWE LANE. If you just tap in the postcode it will take you to Aldmoor Farm which is less than 1/2 mile from Low Penhowe. If you arrive at Aldmoor Farm, exit their drive turn right, narrow windy lane, past a newish house on the left called Sandy Hill, continue to the next drive on the left where Low Penhowe is marked clearly at the bottom of our drive. Turn left up the golden gravel drive and you will have arrived!
